What should of been a peaceful moment, is soured by the venom that drips from Ysabel's tongue as she unleashes her pent up anger on him. Out of life preserving instinct, he backpedals a few steps. Instantly his ears lace into this unkempt mane and his lips curl back exposing his teeth. "A mockery?" he snorts, as his eyes narrow. "You have a thing to learn about approaching without first spitting venom and anger at me, over an issue you can resolve on your own..." he spits, anger boiling beneath his smoky hide.

She continues, mentioning Nyimara again this time about her attacking Tigerlily, and then finishes with a threat. "Ysabel, you do not get to decide who stays or leaves," he snaps, as he feels his resolve slipping away. He bites down on his lip in a desperate ploy to keep from letting his anger boil over on to her and the children that play at her hooves. He turns his glacial eyes away from her, focusing on a distant palm frond that waves slightly in the breeze. He breathes deeply, trying to regain his composure.

He returns his attention to her as she speaks again, this time, with a change of the subject. Finally, it wasn't about Nyimara. His ears swivel forward, as she mentions she has yet to name the colt. Glacial eyes turn upon the rich crimson coat of the colt. A soft smile touches his pink lips as she asks for a suggestion for names. He turns his eyes back to hers, and for a moment it seems that the tension slips from between them.

"A strong name would only be suitable for him," he says with a nod of his head. "Askold, a fitting name for a warrior," he says gruffly as he looks at Ysabel once again.
