A frown furrows his brow as he mentions his mother leaving him in charge. "That was foolish, you are just a colt, and none of this should be put on your shoulders," he says with a jerk of his head. How could she of put all of this on her young colt's mind? Running a herd is difficult for even a skilled warrior, such as himself. "If Bahadir is a capable fighter, then he will have the skills needed to win a battle, " there would be no need for the boy to be involved.

The boy continues to voice his concerns, and most of them are illegitimate fears and he dismisses them. "Your herd will be fine. There is no reason to worry about things that have yet not come to pass," he pauses, to let his words sink in. "I would be careful of the words you speak. You do not know what the future holds, nor what Bahadir will do once he has healed,"

"It sounds like to me that this Bahadir fought with honor to protect your mother, but the Norns had different plans... I would remember this next time you decide to speak ill against the man," his eyes focus on the boy, a seriousness in his tone. If the boy is to follow the in the footsteps of great leaders then he had a few things to learn.
