PRIME MINISTER'S DECREE

"None." - Leader

The Offspring

Diccon (Cicada x Khar'pern)

Rules

• The Vulcan Peak is where homeless mares come to live as a sisterhood. Stallions may not live here except as captives or companions for the Leaders.

• Warriors keep mainly to fighting, Thinkers keep mainly to raiding, and Politicians may do both, neither, or act as diplomats. Members may issue their own battles and raids, but should generally consult the General, Codebreaker or Prime Minister for permission.

• All major decisions are determined by vote, but the Prime Minister maintains order within the Peak and has the final say.

• Elections for leadership positions will be held every TLI summer, provided the qualifying criteria are met.

• You can find detailed information about how the Peak works on the Rules page.

Ain't life just awful strange

a new world hangs outside the window
beautiful and strange
it must be I've fallen awake
I must be

Wasp watched curiously as Khar’pern lit up around the appaloosa stallion. Her dark ears swiveled atop her skull as she registered her giddy, filly-like behavior around the stallion, and logged the information away to bring up at another time. Clearly Khar’pern was quite friendly with this stallion. Her amber eyes inquisitively settled on the mare's foal at her side and her mind continued to scheme away. She held her tongue, reminding herself now was not to the time to push Khar’pern further on this issue. Besides, she wanted to know more about this Argento fellow and the deal he'd come to broker, anyway.

The stout bay mare wasn't sure what to make of Argento. As he listed off the names of his family, a few sprung the hairs along her back to stand in recognition. Macabre had talked of Inka before and of course Jetta. As far as Wasp understood it, Jetta had been her mother's best friend, before she left the Peak one day with her family. Wasp bat her tail over her haunches as she considered this new information. Her jaws clenched and unclenched only to clench again. Wasp's gaze flicked to Khar’pern again when she peppered the stallion with more poignant questions, drawing again as to what he wanted for this kind of exchange. He had yet to really give them a proper answer.

"Is Jetta still alive?" Wasp asked with another annoyed flick of her tail, but her eyes brimmed with hope and interest. "She's been missing... at least from the Peak, for a long time."

She waited a long moment then, her thoughts conflicted. She wanted to know about Argento's family and his history here. But she also didn't have time to waste. Argento needed to prove he could be useful before she was willing to barter with him. "Well, let's see about that." She said, in response to his quip about knowing all of Cullen's movements already. "Why don't you give us something useful, and we'll take your offer under advisement."
