Susil Crags

Disaster has struck!
The Crags are a series of rocky formations with small caves and crevices throughout. Many of the lower-lying areas of the Crags have been flooded, however, with water pouring in from the Northern stretches of Moladion. Some paths have been completely submerged, and some are nothing more than a few rocky peaks sticking out of the water. The water is fairly slow moving but begins to pick speed up towards the Grotto, becoming a series of intense rapids and waterfalls as it nears the Grotto's entrance.

The area itself is still traversible. However, it can be risky. Large amounts of debris can enter the waterway, creating bridges at times but also creating dams that break and cause ocassional flash-flooding. Be careful, travelers! One wrong step and you could end up finding out where the water goes.

She finds little solace in the cavernous den that they now shared. The howling wind and thrashing debris right at their doorstep made sure she was on edge the entire time. But, for the first time in a while, she could be glad for something capable of distracting her from her thoughts.

Her eyes flit over to the older male as he leans into the sturdiness of the cavern wall, the potentially awkward silence between them being drowned out by the ever growing sounds of the storm outside. The unmistakable crack of a tree being broken shatters the air around them, causing her to flinch ever so slightly. Within moments the wind was near deafening and smaller debris was being blown into the den through the small entrance; leaves, dirt, small twigs and sticks. It was enough to cause her to flee toward the back of the cave in record time.

She settles at the far end of their shelter and paws at her eyes, rubbing them on the soft mossy stone below as well, trying to rid herself of the slight stinging pain of dust particles in them. A few more loud cracks and crashes erupt around them before the shrieking wind slowly dies down and they are left in the aftermath.

Dust settles around them as the breeze calms and when she opens her eyes she no longer feels the annoyance of debris in them, but the cave seemed… dimmer somehow. She searches the darkness as her eye adjusts to the shift in light and she picks out the elder across the den from her. She huffs, expelling the earthy particles she had managed to inhale, and when she searches for the cavern exit she finds that it had been… oh no.

The mouth of the stony den was almost entirely blocked, no doubt by one of several trees that had been broken and discarded by the storm. She releases a displeased groan and looks back to the stranger. ”We’re stuck.” Her voice is flat, almost defeated, but there had to be a way for them to get out of here. Maybe… maybe they could try to squeeze through the tiny opening at the top. They were both petite - at least in Moladion terms - surely one of them could wiggle through. Hopefully.
