PRIME MINISTER'S DECREE

"None." - Leader

The Offspring

Diccon (Cicada x Khar'pern)

Rules

• The Vulcan Peak is where homeless mares come to live as a sisterhood. Stallions may not live here except as captives or companions for the Leaders.

• Warriors keep mainly to fighting, Thinkers keep mainly to raiding, and Politicians may do both, neither, or act as diplomats. Members may issue their own battles and raids, but should generally consult the General, Codebreaker or Prime Minister for permission.

• All major decisions are determined by vote, but the Prime Minister maintains order within the Peak and has the final say.

• Elections for leadership positions will be held every TLI summer, provided the qualifying criteria are met.

• You can find detailed information about how the Peak works on the Rules page.

I'm Drop Dead Cynical - Open

More years than Adelheid cared to count had passed since the last time she had entered the land she had been born in. Now she stepped forward and felt a stranger in what had been her home. Dark blue eyes, hard as sapphires narrowed as she gazed around, her ears pressed back in a permanent expression of disdain and disappointment.

All those years ago she had finally given up and went in search for those fairies and fantasies her sister and Taika had always spoken of. She had looked everywhere for some glimmer of magic, something that would have given her hope in goodness in the world. She had only found blood and bones piled at her feet. Disillusionment in every cloud and silver linings laced with venomous lies. Now she returned to see that nothing but the landscape had changed.

Dawn was well passed and the sun starting to climb to mid-day. It would have been a time activity should have been heightened. Adelheid’s eyes narrowed further. Either something was happening in her old home, or truly nothing had changed and strangers could come and go as they pleased. She snorted and stomped her foot. Clearly, she needed answers to what had happened to her home and how it had gotten to the state she found it. More importantly - though she would never admit it - what had happened to her brother and sister. Had they died like their mother, with the belief of her hatred in their hearts?

The mare called into the air, summoning whoever might have been around. For a second her ears flicked forward to listen for a response before repositioning back to constant annoyance. Anything else would just be too optimistic.

Adelheid
