The day had been long and harsh. Hannah had been waiting for the beast to come after her, possibly demanding to have his daughter and to find out about the colt. But as she stood wwaiting with the twins hiding and Blackout not far off, Cullen had advanced. That's When Yngvar showed up and helped bring her attention to the problem. The fight was hard even with her oldest son's help but she would die before anyone touched her younger foals. Even when Blackout had tried to help she had deliberatly pushed her body infront of him.

As night drew on things had gotten quiet as the battles died down for the day. But everyone was still on guard. Hannah had not left the area even though she was sure Cullen was long gone. Yngvar and blackout stood by the thicket in which the twins were hopefully sleeping. She stood a few feet away dozing on and off. Her wounds no longer bleeding.


She had a hind leg cocked but she was on full alert waiting and watching for anyone. She would not allow anyone to harm any of her foals. Yngvar occasionally woke up and took sentry demanding his mother sleep and she did by the thicket but now was her turn to be awake as the sun rose above. She gazed up at the sky wondering if the war might be over, but no it isn't long before the cries are coming again and both her and Yngvar are on alert. Yngvar stood by his siblings while she stood away from it to have a better view of their surroundings. She kne he would come soon if he wasn't already on his way.
