She worried. Really, that was most of her existence now was worrying about one thing or another. Bjorn. Sigurdr. Even Ysabel, though she hardly knew her. The possibility of another foal growing in the swell of her womb was the heaviest weight of them all, but this worry was tinged with excitement and hope, and therefore not as hard to bear. The future, with all its quirks and unknown elements, occupied all of her time.

The red mare had taken to walking the shores of the Ridge, where she had last seen the chimeric colt who had dubbed her his best friend in the steadfast hope that he would soon return. The little princeling hopefully knew how many here cared for him, beyond his own parents. Pensively she paused in her wanderings to stare into the surf, fiercely willing the predictable and rhythmic waves to lull her soul into some semblance of peace.

A scuffing of small hooves on rocks grabbed her attention and her gaze locked onto the small figure of another colt. She flicked her ears forward and studied him for a moment, confused as to what felt so different about him. He, like Sigurdr had sabino flecking, and seemed compact, but there was something vitally different between the two. Whereas the prince had been full of life, joy and confidence, this one seemed deeply unhappy and withdrawn. Siobhan watched him for a long moment before deciding to approach, concern for this unnamed child already adding to the load of worries etched into her heart.

"Looks like you're carrying the weight of the world on your shoulders." She approaches at a walk, warm eyes focusing on his face. "Care to share what's wrong?"

The spotted mare halts near to him, inclining her head in greeting. "I haven't seen you around before, but to be honest, I haven't met many here. My name is Siobhan..."

She trailed off at the end, giving the boy a chance to introduce himself if he choose.
