Fear grips at the prince's heart for the first time he feels it close around his heart; it threatens to choke the life from him. A familiar voice rings through the clearing. Spotted girl! His crown lifts high on his neck as his eyes focus on her as she bursts forward. He nods as she tells him to try to get away and instantly he searches for a way to escape. Then another comes to his aid, a pale lady who he knows is the Queen and he watches in fear as as the gilded man grabs ahold of her crest. A cry escapes from his lips as his eyes widen in fear. It seems that he would stop at nothing in order to steal him away from his home.
Siguršr's dark eyes disappear amongst thin wisps of silvery mane as the gilded man kicks out at him and he shrinks back. He turns his head to watch the scene unfold before him, it is pure chaos and he freezes in his tracks as Isabel is dragged by her neck.
"Let go of her!" he yells as he lunges at the gilded man, but pulls up short as he turns on him and begins to herd her toward him.
Siguršr stumbles into Isabel, his body shivers in fear as he looks up at the older girl.
"Are you okay?" he asks with a tilt of his head. He knows that it was best for him to go along with the gilded man, to protect Isabel, and to keep further harm from coming to his spotted Girl and the Queen. He glances over his shoulder one more time as the jungle closes around him, a exasperated nicker escapes his lips one last time before he loses sight of them.
He does not cower before their captor, no, he lifts his little crown higher and puffs his chest. Who ever this guy is, he will regret taking Isabel and him. When his daddy finds out what he has done, he will be sorry.
