She wasn't fond of all the attention the older mares seemed to want. Her mother didn't go seeking it out. In fact, she always told Medusa that Rougaru would find her and she liked it that way. She wanted to be the chased, never the chaser and Medusa liked that idea. Besides, when no one was paying attention was when she could get into the most trouble and explore freely. She was happy when her mother decided to let her go unsupervised. It meant she could practically do whatever she wanted and that was just how she liked it. As she got closer to the older colt, he turned his head to her but didn't say anything at first. Snorting, she tilted her head and narrowed her gaze on him. Why wasn't he talking? Was he mute or something? It felt like forever before he finally spoke. He gave his name as Noctis, or at least she thought that's what he was answering before he asked what she wanted to show him. Smirking, she lifted her head. "Everything you've been missing. Follow me." Nudging her head, she turned and trotted into the jungle. Weaving her way through the trees, she made sure he was following, slowing her pace if she needed to. Finally she made it to the cave and stopped at the entrance. "Look!" Excited, her eyes practically glowed as she pranced in front of the entrance. Pawing the ground, she pointed her nose into the darkness. "Watch your step." She said the words almost in a whisper, pointing out that the floor of the cave was moving. It was snakes, a lot of them. It was also breeding season for them, but she didn't know that. She just found them all rolled into balls and thought it was interesting to watch. "Are they fighting or playing? Think they'll eat one another?" She was curious, glancing at Noctis for his response.
