Humans they had come come for their herd. With their flying contraptions and their men on horse back they had come. She had run with the rest of them exactly where those beasts had wanted them too. However the silver buckskin leopard mare at the last second spun away from them. She ran into the woods where the bird thing could not follow. Her hooves hitting the ground hard and fast as she ran. Next thing she knew she was jumping off a small cliffi nto the ocean.
She just swam and swam not sure where she'd end up or if she'd drown or get eatting by something. Finally her feet after days of travel found purchase on the ground and she stands in the shallow surf to regain some of her energy.
She spins around to see if she was followed and when nothing shows its ugly face she snorts, shakes her pelt out and heads further inland. She pauses though as she comes across a familiar scent, its very very faint but she smells it. Shaydowfax, her sister who left home a few years ago with her young colt Kalona.
As much as she didn't agree with Shaydowfax ways she decided that once she was rest up perhaps she would go in search of her, atleast she could provide safety for her while she recuperates. For the moment she finds herself in the common's where she grazes.
