OOC: Playing this as their first meeting aka before the mating :3.
Mother always told her to stay away from the Desert as long as the painted Gypsy Vanner lived here. She understood her mother's reasoning, but she was feeling a bit rebellious now that she was gone. Her mother left the islands a couple of days ago and this was the first time she would be without her dam since her birth. They have never been separated before so she was taking it hard. Libra found herself pacing the Dunes daily, even avoiding playing with the children. Her daughter was finding a playmate in Balavant so thankfully she wasn't too upset her mother no longer wanted to play with her. Libra watches the foals play and tells them to stay put in the Dunes with Bahadir as she had somewhere to go.
She just wanted to be dangerous without the fear of something bad happening to the foals. She no longer cares what could happen to herself as she crosses into the Desert. It has been a while since she has been in this part of the island so she stares at the differences between the two territories. The sand was the same, but some parts were more hardened and some solid cliffs formed in the distance. There were not so many hills as the Dunes had and the sand was not as comfortable under her hooves. Still, this place was Salem and no matter where she was on the island it was still home. Libra finds the spot in the Desert where her sister Leilyn was born. She remembers the day clearly as her mother introduces her to Leilyn and explains she was named after the filly's father who had saved her life and given them hope.
Now, look at their family. Mother was gone in search of an old lover on the mainland, Leilyn was off chasing some stallion she was obsessed with, and Libra was left behind with her young daughter and her young half brother. Libra sighs and continues her travels until she comes across a spot in the sand that causes her to halt. Fear momentarily takes over her eyes as she stares at the normal looking sand, but she knew this spot as something more. This was the spot she had almost died as a two-year-old.
