Her heart is currently in turmoil between what she knows she should do and what her heart wants. She has feeling for Cain, Lead of the Desert, who raped her on their first meeting. He has sense tried to become a better stallion and Prim doesn't know what to do. She was opening up to him and learning to trust him when she was won in a battle to the Thicket. She also talked to her father about what happened to her and he greatly disapproves of her mate choice. So there could possibly be something there.
