A thin crust of snow blankets the crossing. It glitters and sparkles beneath the bright afternoon sun. Despite the sun's light, there is a bitterness in the air and a frigid cold that bites at his nose. A plume of smoke rolls out of his nostrils with each breath, crystals cling to his whiskers and eyelashes with every breath. He strolls with ease through the Crossing, his crown swivels atop his muscular neck as he watches the other inhabitants of these common lands. He does not slow at the pairs who mill around, and it seems these days there is more than enough women and men who grace these lands.
The crunch of his hooves in the snow is a comfort to his ears, it has been some time since he has just enjoyed the snow and how it refreshes him. He can feel the energy vibrate his bones and bring excitement to his beating heart. He slows to a halt just at the edge of the Commons, glacial eyes scan the vast commons. A frigid gust of wind pushes against him, its fingers poke and prod at his fuzzy winter coat.
A leggy two toned woman draws his glacial gaze, she moves with caution in her steps and a swivel of her head. He pushes himself forward into a fast walk, ears rotate atop his crown as approaches the woman. He slows as he draws close and lifts his crown high onto his neck, muscles ripple in his neck and his crest arches. A few unkempt onyx locks fall across his forehead with a snort and a toss of his head, he rids himself of them.
"Welcome to the Isles," he breathes and nods his crown, "How did you fare against the ocean?" he asks with a furrow of his brow. Her scent is fresh and unmarked by any scent he knows across the entire Isles.
