Each day the dainty mare spent in the jungle increased the disparity in her emotions regarding it. On one hand, it was blissfully warm and there was no such thing as hunting for food, wasting her energy scraping at cold earth only for it to turn up nothing worth really eating. On the other hand, it was oppressive. Every bit of it, every dark shadow and grasping vine made her feel trapped and helpless, as though she would never again turn the heads of any eligible bachelors.

It probably didn't help that her pregnancy had gone from a nebulous idea to an irrefutable baby bump.

The pinto mare strode along the beaches of Paradise proudly, neck bowed as she eyed the beach and ocean beyond hungrily. She wouldn't dare try to escape with a foal on the way. Even though she regretted every decision that had led to it's conception, she was not so cruel as to wish death upon it or herself by committing suicide in the deep blue waves.

Nor really, if Vanya were being honest, did she want to escape. No, she wanted someone to take her away from here simply because they desired her. Anything less than that was not currently worth the risk.

Vanya's slender legs stilled as she turned her attention back to the depths of the jungle with a sigh, her amber eyes narrowing. Despite the threat she'd issued to Rougaru upon her arrival, she'd not yet sought out any of the other stallions here in Paradise. She didn't hold much hope that she could sway any of them to taking her away, but then again, it would be just as fun to flirt with someone to make him jealous while she was here.

She softens her expression and calls out gently, flicking the long strands of her tail across her hocks impatiently. Surely someone had to be in that dense deathtrap of a jungle. "Come out, come out, whoever you are."
