After all of Solomon's teachings something had changed in him. He loved his mother don't get him wrong, but ultimately a stallion should be the head of the herd not a mare. His mother was strong yes but how could she fight while carrying a foal? A leader must be able to always be ready to fight no matter the circumstances. So did that mean his mother did not care if she killed the unborn? So he had asked his mother if he could go live in the ridge with his father, atleast for a little and she watched him for a long time and he could tell she was having a hard time saying yes but in the end with a nuzzle she told him to do as he saw fit and with one last look at her he plunged into the ocean.

He swam hard and fast remembering a little bit where he was told the island was. He pulls himself up onto shore an shakes himself off. He looks around the place and then calls out. Would anyone come to him? He didn't know any of his siblings who lived here so he was sure they wouldn't know him.

He begins to wander further inland. He has no ears so he has a hard time hearing so if anyone called back he might not of heard them. So he went in search of his father and anyone else. Sure mares could have a lead position but it was not in his eyes meant to be the one who fights to defend the herd and territory. That was the place of the stallion.
