Use caution when the wolf comes knocking;

The wolf could not help but to smile, its bright white fangs gleaming in the sunlight. She was so much like her mother, sometimes he wondered if there was even anything remotely about him in her. Occasionally he saw it, the flash of her eyes, the wolfish smirk upon her lips or the trouble in which she somehow imagined up for herself. Were it any other mare other than Monster as her mother, surely she would be filled with gray hairs and desperate to find some sense of control. He learned fairly quickly that there was no controlling Monster, merely sending her on the path he so preferred. It worked for them. He only hoped that Ironclad was prepared for the same spitfire spirit.

He can almost picture her puckered lip as she remarks almost morosely that she had yet to antagonize the new foals that had come with the Bay herd. It was true since their arrival to Paradise, most of the mares clung together as though they feared the jungle shadows would eat them alive. It was not something he was quite used to. Most of the mares he brought home were strong in nature and simply met the challenges of the jungle with wide eyed excitement. Not reserve. Grant it when Zjeena had first come to Paradise she had been reluctant to join the herd, then again she did have two newborn foals in tow. He supposed that he could not blame the Bay mares now. Though it was still winter and none of them were close to dropping their foals, still it was an abrupt change to be sure. "Im sure they will begin to explore at bit more when the nervousness begins to dissipate around them." he promises, chuckling at her playful kicks and temperamental squeals. Definitely picked that trait up from her mother.

She remarks that she is nearly a yearling and capable of making he own decisions. Now that, it was hard to decide which parent she inherited the independent spirit from. Surely none could deny his own. A proud smile curves his whiskered lips as he stretches his neck forward to nuzzle her forehead affectionately. "Yes my dearest, you are old enough to make your own decisions... which is why I am here to speak with you first, before I bring the idea up to your mother." he says, pausing for a moment to let his words settle between them. Not to mention that he hoped to have Medusa on his side when he brings it up to Monster. She could take after her namesake when it came to their daughter as she should. He just hoped that she was not in such a biting mood when he brought it up.

He clears his throat now as Medusa replies, her eyes shining bright with the prospect of an adventure. He smiles warmly at her now, reluctance tugging his heart. She was still his baby, she always would be. Seeing her set off on a different path so soon seemed unfair and yet the wolf would not let him deny her the oppertunity. "Soon as I speak with your mother about this I will take you to Tinuvel myself. It has been some time since I last visited Warsaw. Perhaps even bring Annubis along. It is high time he met his grandsire." he muses now, his thoughts lingering upon the near future.
