Stay wild, Moon Child [Claim]

She walked in moon dust,
but stars were sprinkled in her hair.

Feray had no clue of what she was even thinking of coming to the crossing island, her round sides swinging to and fro as she pulls herself from the cold bitter waters, the winter air painfully slapping at her damp skin. Yeah, so far a pretty stupid idea and Roheryn was sure to give her an earful when she got back. If anything she would be back before he ever notices, but she had to do this; it was for their family.

Feray completely avoids the meadows and the falls, her legs marching her on to the commons where she knew she would find an oblivious stranger to take back to Xiomara. Why Feray was so dead set on forging some sort of alliance with the roan warrior woman escapes even her more logically thinking side, she just knew she had to do this. The commons were big and open, snow littering the ground and tress barren of their leaves. It was weird to see snow again as the badlands was barren of the slick wet ice, for which Feray was grateful. A shiver runs down her spine then, a feeling of eyes on her pale skin. With a turn of her head Feray spies the lone dark mare with peculiar white markings on her face looking in her direction before it moves on to look in another; almost as if she were looking for something. How odd, Feray thinks, yet her curiosity has her legs moving towards this stranger against better judgement. Xiomara didn't say it had to be a sane one.

"Hello there, i couldn't help but see that you seem a little lost my dear. The commons are not safe, but i'm happy to take you someplace much safer," Feray quietly offers on her approach so not to alert any others hunting for herd members, all while giving the other mare a decent amount of space should she spook. Her mismatched eyes of brown and blue gently stare down the other while inwardly chanting to herself 'please say yes, please say yes'. It would be clear to anyone that Feray had never done such a risky thing before and with her added weight she was risking a lot.
