Ruieze Fields

Open fields and soft grass...
Ruieze stretches far in the midlands of Moladion, laced with streams that feed into Diveen and out of Asteraia at times. The fields are vast, filled with wildflowers and tall, soft grass; trees are sparse, as are rocks, but one can find small shrubs to hide amongst, and the grass itself. To the south of the fields, a Ruieze River widens, and the ground becomes sandy. There is a small, grassy island that can be reached from the banks, with water-birds often congregating on the island rather than the riverbanks.

Ontari had seen the girl aroudn Iromar, but she didn't know much more about her at all. All she knew is that the girl had been considered a guest and that the spy, Ruby, had taken some kind of liking to her. Well, Ontari understood that at least: those two were kin. Both of them were stained by the obvious signs of their blood. For that reason, Ontari had been attempting to keep a close eye on Sorath. When she left Iromar, Ontari took the opportunity to follow her at a distance. Once they were outside Iromar, Ontari was not bound by as much pack law - at least, that's what she thought. If her mother caught her in Iromar following a guest or anything of the sort, she was sure she'd be in trouble. Out in the open though? She could make up something to let it slip, she was sure.

Ontari kept the distance she had put between them. She watched through narrowed eyes, her breathing slow and steady as her mind was awash with thoughts. The girl, Sorath, was clearly a Demon. In fact, she might have been more of a Demon than Ruby herself. It wasn't her markings that made Ontari think that but rather, the girl's apparent nature. She seemed confident, and Ontari couldn't understand why she should be. She was alone, young, not connected to the others...Why did she get to be confident like that? Ontari shook her head and snorted in amusement then, her thoughts seemingly have summoned the rabbit's trickery. Yes, she thought, teach her a lesson!

With that, she began to move closer. Her own confidence had blossomed in that moment, and she tried her best to look the part as she began to saunter over to Sorath. Ontari didn't bother trying to hide herself; her white fur was stark against the backdrop of autumn, her russet eyebrows furrowed as Sorath seemed to search her out.

"You," she said flatly, "your kind have names for those markings, don't they?" She didn't bother with the formalities. In Ontari's world, they didn't matter all that much. Why should they? Sorath was a Demon anyway, so what would she know about pack formalities and all that?
