PRIME MINISTER'S DECREE

"None." - Leader

The Offspring

Diccon (Cicada x Khar'pern)

Rules

• The Vulcan Peak is where homeless mares come to live as a sisterhood. Stallions may not live here except as captives or companions for the Leaders.

• Warriors keep mainly to fighting, Thinkers keep mainly to raiding, and Politicians may do both, neither, or act as diplomats. Members may issue their own battles and raids, but should generally consult the General, Codebreaker or Prime Minister for permission.

• All major decisions are determined by vote, but the Prime Minister maintains order within the Peak and has the final say.

• Elections for leadership positions will be held every TLI summer, provided the qualifying criteria are met.

• You can find detailed information about how the Peak works on the Rules page.

Ain't life just awful strange

a new world hangs outside the window
beautiful and strange
it must be I've fallen awake
I must be

The swim home was tiring. But Wasp trudged along nonetheless, the muscles in her thick legs burning with every kick they made through the cool ocean, and her tired gaze remained fixed on the skinny stallion up ahead. Their swim had been silent, though Wasp's mind was still stuck on the bald-faced mare. She just couldn't fathom why a mare of such strength and cunning would want to be against the Peak. Wouldn't it make more sense to work together? Everything about Xiomara bewildered her. But Wasp was hopeful that this new Trinket, Angel, could be worthwhile.

Angel didn't try any funny business. He moved briskly through the Crossing until they reached the borders of the Peak. Wasp eyed him as they moved, wincing every so often when she took an off step and unnecessarily strained her already exhausted body. They walked through the tall grasses of the valley at the base of the Peak, and she snorted once before halting. The Prime Minister of the Peak cocked her head to one side and narrowed her gaze on the stallion as she tried to collect her thoughts into words. "Be careful on the mountain paths. Too many bullish stallions learn the hard way how treacherous they can be." She offered in fair warning with the swipe of her damp, dark tail.

Her gaze looked off the East. "There is a stream that flows from the higher elevations down into the valley over there." She explained curtly. Her amber stare returned to him and her dark brown ears fell flat on the sides of her skull as she heaved a great sigh. "There are a few Lagoon stallions here as well. Don't get close to them." She barked.

"Any questions?"
