PRIME MINISTER'S DECREE

"None." - Leader

The Offspring

Diccon (Cicada x Khar'pern)

Rules

• The Vulcan Peak is where homeless mares come to live as a sisterhood. Stallions may not live here except as captives or companions for the Leaders.

• Warriors keep mainly to fighting, Thinkers keep mainly to raiding, and Politicians may do both, neither, or act as diplomats. Members may issue their own battles and raids, but should generally consult the General, Codebreaker or Prime Minister for permission.

• All major decisions are determined by vote, but the Prime Minister maintains order within the Peak and has the final say.

• Elections for leadership positions will be held every TLI summer, provided the qualifying criteria are met.

• You can find detailed information about how the Peak works on the Rules page.

She sighed heavily, the emotion roiling within her so potent it made her head spin though her gaze swept out to the distant horizon unfocused as it was. Her sides heaved from the exertion of her run and the adrenaline careening through her system at the prospect of tumbling down the cliffside if she had stumbled any differently. Why she was so upset exactly she honestly wasn’t sure, the emotions clouding her mind sat somewhere with the fear that the Peak which had been built up in story and legend in her mind would not live up to expectation. She pulls her white brows together, the stinging tears a product of her pain in her legs or her disappointment… or both. Snorting harshly she adjusts her weight on large hooves biting back a hiss as she favors her right leg over all else. No doubt she will be cursing herself for this for many nights to come.

The sound of falling rock diverts her attention however, fearful that maybe she had somehow started an avalanche with her carelessness as it would be just her luck. Turning her spotted head up the mountain pass however she is instead greeted with a white splashed woman descending towards her. Her head cants slightly in curiosity, wondering if this would be her first interaction with those fabled Vulcans. “I will be. Though I’ll be payin’ for my recklessness for days to come yet I’m sure.” She drawled back casually, offering the stranger a slight smile at her concern unwarranted though it might be. Years of being a parent to her father had left her with an independent streak a mile wide and she was more than capable of taking care of herself. “Thank ya for your concern though.” She can acknowledge that at least.

She tries to bear weight again on her right left, grimacing slightly but biting back the curses that bubbled to the forefront of her mind. Instead focusing on the mare before her. “I’m Cricket, by the way. Do you live here?” She managed to hold back the intensity of what that question actually meant to her, if this stranger was someone would could answer her questions and give credence or clarity to myths in her mind. Perhaps it was a lot of pressure to put on a new acquaintance but this had been a lifetime in the making for the large woman.
