Diccon (Cicada x Khar'pern)

Rules

• The Vulcan Peak is where homeless mares come to live as a sisterhood. Stallions may not live here except as captives or companions for the Leaders.

• Warriors keep mainly to fighting, Thinkers keep mainly to raiding, and Politicians may do both, neither, or act as diplomats. Members may issue their own battles and raids, but should generally consult the General, Codebreaker or Prime Minister for permission.

• All major decisions are determined by vote, but the Prime Minister maintains order within the Peak and has the final say.

• Elections for leadership positions will be held every TLI summer, provided the qualifying criteria are met.

• You can find detailed information about how the Peak works on the Rules page.

*~My Next Collison Course~*

one hundred miles an hour...

He was curious of what this encounter might mean. Did the stallion who approached him have some kind of plan of escape or is it just a meeting of the minds from Lagoon members so they didn't feel so alone in this herd of mares? Either way, he was grateful for the company. Collision was never a loner by nature. He liked good conversation. Surprise flickered in his eyes when he heard someone else approaching, his head snapping around to set his brown gaze on the lighter colored stallion coming toward them. There was confidence in the other stallion's stride and Collision pricked his ears with curiosity as the male got closer and spoke. He said his name was Fiero and called the first stallion "father." That answered some questions. Collision glanced between the two, wondering where this might lead.

He dipped his head in greeting. "Pleasure to meet you, Fiero." The paint stallion then turned his attention back to the first stallion who gave his name as Rade. He said he was in the Lagoon himself once but before Collision's time. He nodded his head. "Probably so. I had only been there a few months when the war started." He admitted. He watched the exchange of facial expressions between father and son before Rade said the Lagoon had strayed from what it should be. That had Collision's attention. He pricked his ears and tilted his head. Was this stallion thinking more along the lines of what Argento was thinking? Did they know each other? Rade went on, saying the Lagoon shouldn't be a harem or a group of mercenaries but instead there to teach the young and protect the elderly. He straightened up. This was something he could get behind.

The stallion wanted to end the involvement with other herds and Collision listened attentively. Rade said he wanted the Peak and the Lagoon to come together but they disagreed. His plan was to overthrow Cullen and he had the support of a ranked member here in the Peak. When the roan stallion paused, Collision could only assume it was to let it all sink in so they could decide what they were going to do. The overo stallion glanced down for a moment to think. Cullen had been a fair leader to him, but Collision didn't believe in the war. He didn't want to hurt others because someone else told them to. He wanted to help other horses. He wanted to be a good change in the world. Lifting his head back to look at Rade, he sighed and straightened up. "What can I do to help?"
