Too Many EGGS in an Basket

I Have been concerned about the large super Aircraft carriers we have and how they are very large and easy to find and vulnerable targets and losing one would be a singular disasterous loss. But, I have learned something: Here is it: The US officially has 11 aircraft carriers(CVA), but it also has nine other ships that can serve as carriers in a pinch.
Those are the eight Wasp-class (LHD)amphibious assault ships and the single America-class (LHA)vessel in service.
But because the America and the Wasp were designed to haul Marines around, they’re not going to perform as well as a full-scale carrier.. Consider this: IF there is no need for fighter
A/C to be so maneuverable ( the air war will not be dependent on aircraft to get close to an enemy and only be able to make contacrt with an enemy so an air to air missile to do the final maneuvering and seek the enemy target and strike it down. Combined this with the newer fighters that can land and take off like a helicopter , and can use the LHD LHA and those ( tiny bqck up cariers) Warfare is changing. a combination of Nimitz class CVA and many Wasp types LHD-LHA with the new F35 and V-22 aircraft and other in the mix. and high electronics control in the battle space, crypto and control communication warefare with control contact of the space above the surface, including "lower" " SPACE A highly integrated under sea, surface, air, and lower space will be the battle area. VERY complex. with GPS radar, SONAR and guided misiles. Try to consider the use of drones developing in to the mix.
