She would not go quietly into the night. A point made more vivid in the angry squeal that surges past her lips. Depthless emerald green eyes gleam as he meets her own, watching the weight of his approach as it washed over her. A part of him expected her to cower in his presence, to shrink away and turn upon slender heels in hopes of escaping the control of his touch. He expected her pretty pale eyes to shine bright in the orange and red glows of sunset, to see the whites of her eyes rolled back in fear. He expected to see her starlight hide tense and tremor beneath the fearsomeness of his gaze. And yet she does not.

Instead of recoiling from him like a fleeing doe, she turns towards him. Small ears pin beneath the silver white wisps of her mane but he does not have the luxury of watching her now. She is on the attack, as though her fierce fire might deter the determination with which he approached. A smug smile curves his whiskered lips upward as he shifts his heels beneath him to meet her onslaught in stride. Her scream is met with gold tinted eyes. Caramel colored tail snaps against coffee colored haunches as he takes another menacing step towards her, thick muscular neck stretching forward to snap at her muzzle. "There was no question in my words starlight! You belong to Atlantis, whether you arrive alive or drowned is your choice!" he roars snapping his blunt yellow fangs at her again. Thick saucer-like hooves dig deep into the malleable sands, using the weight of his large body as a barricade. For now, Cain is all but forgotten, his silence enough proof that in this moment, Rougaru is the victor here. The ease with which he is able to capture his prize still remains to be seen.
