Note: Unsure if this is true or not, but Aallotar was claimed by Fearghas (Lagoon) back in April, but Moonless had not responded to the activity check in the Lagoon. I assume Aallotar would still be a trinket now that she is active again since she had no escape attempt and the activity check wasn’t a site wide one. I could be wrong, but I am playing Cullen assuming she is still their property for special effect.

There were not many members (especially mares) of the Lagoon so he noticed each time one went missing. He tried to keep all his pretty trinkets collected in the Lagoon for only his men to impregnate, but this season had been a dud. As far as he knew, they would be no Lagoon children born this season which meant no potential colts to take their place when they die. His successor had to be special, he didn’t have to be blood, but he had to agree with his ideals. His heir had to be strong and threatening to the island’s way of life just as he was. Cullen thinks he might have found a spark in Varanduil, but the boy had much to learn. His thieving skills were lacking, but his battle skill is even less lackluster.

The golden stallion emerges from the trees as he advances on the group ahead. He had spotted the Paso Fino mare from a distance just as a dark figure approached her. It was a mare who held herself like a Queen, another of those female territory leaders no doubt, but she wasn’t about to sneak off with his territory. Cullen may not be the claimer of the mare, but she was Lagoon property. He had no intentions of allowing any of his property go for free his or not. Just as he had begun to advance, Fearghas appears. Cullen did not know much about the new recruit, but he had seen him bring the Paso Fino in month ago. He was happy to see the stallion was trying to keep tabs on his trinkets.

The appaloosa stallion was young, much like most that were coming into the Lagoon, but Cullen was excited to groom him just like he was Varanduil. Cullen was too far away to hear everything they were saying though he was smart enough to know if was a power struggle. They both wanted control of the mare good intentions or not. Cullen was no close enough to hear the sly words slide out of his trinket’s mouth. She would dare to not only try to escape herself, but take Fearghas with her? He wouldn’t be allowing any of it! No one seems to notice him yet as the black, Queen-like mare, speaks. He snorts to alert every one of his close proximity as he presses his body against the grulla mare, sliding up beside her as Faolain goes on about the damn birds.

”Out here striking deals, are we?” A smug smirks marks his features. His head tosses with a snort. ”As I see it, this mare is still property of the Lagoon so she cannot be bargained for nor can she leave.” He eyes the female as he presses his body into hers before glancing towards Fearghas, then to Faolain. ”But you’re in luck cause I feel like striking a deal myself.” A chuckle rattles his throat as he steps away from Aallotar and turns to face her. ”You may have your freedom as long as the first son you birth joins the Lagoon once he is weaned.” His gaze rises to Fearghas. ”But you must stay in the Lagoon as my associate. Your freedom would come at a much different price.”

Blue eyes sweep back to Faolain. ”I don’t believe we have met before. I am Cullen, Boss of the Lagoon. I assume you own some land on one of these islands and I assume you are here to gain members. If you wish to free this mare without the price of her next born son then you will have to fight me for her and win.” A hoof stomps the space in between them with aggression.
