Your river of judgment
The last time she saw Akello she was a small filly. It wasn’t exactly a year ago, but maybe it was…she couldn’t remember. She wants to see him because for some reason he was in her thoughts lately. Once the fears of seeing Ajnur in danger faded away, Akello was all she saw.
She felt the need to see him.
Dark legs carry her from her home into the Desert. She knows nothing of the sudden leader change or that her friend might now be here, but she does notice the change in scents. Another’s scent was strong where Cain’s used to be. Jordan did not know Cain well, but she had seen him a few times watching over when Daciana would bring her over to nurse. It his was mares Geneva, Primrose, and Vihaan that would take turns letting her nurse to survive when the Badlands had no one to help. She was thankful for the Desert herd for giving her life.
She saw no one she knew so she calls out for someone, anyone of the herd she knew. She had things to say to him and problems she wanted his help with. He was one of her only friends on this earth so she felt a close connection without having to see him all the time.
