Glorall

Disaster has struck!
Flooding from the north has taken its toll on Glorall. The large tides combined with the increase in water draining from the Ruieze River has flooded the lower regions of the pack. The sandy soil, compounded with so much water, has toppled a lot of trees. Traveling is difficult even when the water is shallower, with the sandy soil below being difficult to find traction on. The daily tides seem to keep the level of flooding fairly consistent, too.

During the low tide, wolves may be able to move around the higher dunes (with some difficulty) but during high tide, the pack is almost impossible to safely navigate. Swimming is possible, but the risk of currants and surges from either the ocean or the river are very real. The island off of the coast of Glorall is untouched by either issue, although it is incredibly difficult to find your way there without being an adept swimmer with plenty of good luck!

Note: Glorall will reopen once 30 posts have been completed (or at Staff discretion). During this time, new threads will receive a 'Surprise','Disaster', and prizes. Glorall is currently not open for challenges.

With the way Israfel jumped when Thor and Triton called out, you would think he didn't know they were there. Thor only smirked though, his attention successfully distracted by the young male wolf with him who looked eagerly between himself and Triton as they spoke. Israfel turned to greet them, saying he would have come looking for them if he knew they were there. Thor only nodded. "I feel like I'm always here, especially with the water making travel difficult. But it's okay, I'm sure you had a big tour planned." He smiled knowingly as he looked to Israfel's son. Triton only grinned and gave a sly wink to the young wolf when he rolled his eyes after bowing, his way of saying he didn't get the bowing either, but Israfel didn't need to see that. When Israfel tried to introduce him, the young wolf was quick to use his own voice, giving his name as Silverwind before mentioning his mother talked about him and Triton all the time.

Thor chuckled and Triton only grinned wider. "Glad to know aunt Samia still remembers me. I'm good at making impressions." He added teasingly as he smirked at Silverwind. Thor smiled down at the young male. "It's a pleasure to meet you, Silverwind. Yes, I'm your uncle and Triton is your cousin." As the young wolf poked their chests, Thor chuckled again and Triton laughed outright before lowering his head to poke his own nose onto the top of Silverwind's head. When the young wolf spoke again, they both pricked their ears to listen attentively. Thor nodded. "Yep, I love to hunt. The ocean has some interesting variety when it comes to food." Triton added as he lowered his front end to Silverwind's level, "I sure do. There's crabs and birds and fish, even slimy things in shells." He made a face as he said it, trying to get a reaction out of Silverwind. Thor meanwhile, looked back at Israfel as he asked how they were doing. His face softened at the mention of his sister. "Sometimes it's tough but we're surviving. We know how to do that here. I appreciate the offer, though. This is home, but I'd love to come visit sometime, see what Samia's been up to and how motherhood is treating her." He said with a twinkle in his eyes.
