Boss's Decree

"For every brother you bring to our
midst, you may keep a trinket all to
yourself. She will not be sullied or traded, unless you deem otherwise. But should you bring a mare here without a new brother first, then I will consider her property of the Lagoon as a whole
and do with her as I see fit." - Garmr

Rules

• The Lagoon is where homeless stallions come to live as a brotherhood. Mares may not live here except as captives or companions for the Leaders.

• Soldiers keep mainly to fighting, Thieves keep mainly to raiding, and Associates may do both, neither, or act as diplomats. Members may issue their own battles and raids, but should generally consult the General, Marauder or Boss for permission.

• All major decisions are determined by vote, but the Boss maintains order within the Lagoon and has the final say.

• Elections for leadership positions will be held every TLI summer, provided the qualifying criteria are met.

• You can find detailed information about how the Lagoon works on the Rules page.

• Upon election, the Boss can issue a rule for members to follow during their tenure. It is up to leadership to enforce.

Exhaustion had crept through the mighty stallion’s bones when Fall had come to an end. His body drained from hormones and traveling across the islands. When he had returned to the Lagoon, he had simply faded into the background. Not seeking out any company after having sought so much in the past season. But despite his reclusiveness, the golden stallion did not completely abandon his charge. He followed her like a shadow, especially as she began to show the late signs of her pregnancy. But when the time finally came, Tyr did not notice her waddle off.

Too tired after having spent the night standing guard, wondering if the foal would come in the dark, Tyr dozed among the fronds of a thickly vegetated tree. It was only when Kiraz called out to him, that he startled awake. Had he only been dreaming of her voice beckoning him? Ears flicking in uncertainty, the stallion eased out of his resting place to follow her scent that mingled with the smell of birth the closer he got.

When Tyr reached the pair, his eyes instantly went to the golden foal. Excitement coursed through him, as well as pride. Especially as he saw it was a boy. Though the large stallion did not get too close. Not wanting to make the new mother uncomfortable, or feel the wraith of her teeth on his hide. “You have done amazingly, Kiraz.” he said, thoroughly impressed and happy with the mare for what she had given them. Tyr was also glad to see that she seemed okay. A small smile then touched his features as his multicolored eyes found her face. “You knew, didn’t you?” he asked. Though he had kept his distance, Tyr realized that Kiraz must has still known he was there this whole time. Why else would she have called out for him?
