Good evening, Norm. The first airman aircrew list, compiled by Col, was part of a website owned by a former army warrant officer. The list was an annex to the site.
The list was somewhat out-of-date and Col was having difficulty in having it updated due to a lack of support from the webmaster (owner). When Col explained his plight to me, I suggested he abandon the army site altogether and that a dedicated airman aircrew website be established. I said I'd be happy to run with it if he agreed. This must be close on 20 years ago now. The AAA website has been motoring along ever since and now in it's second rewrite, but unfinished. Getting there! Replies:
