how many lies that i've lied requiem

A U D I E
braylen x isobel. bay dun roan blanket. kamala(x requiem)
Gone were the quiet days where she didn’t have to speak much. Now, she was constantly yelling at her two year old to get back her, no, don’t touch those. The girl was exhausting. Never mind the fact that she was constantly searching for Requiem. She had no idea he had left, none. She felt as if she was alone in the cove, hiding among the borders, trying to stay hidden so she’d not make any waves. That was difficult with a headstrong filly at her side.

It was a crazy world. And it had taken way too long for Audie to realize that she was alone in the cove now. Requiem wasn’t there, and the other mare of his was gone too. The shock of that was something that was hard to understand. Where had they gone? That feeling of being alone was sinking in. So off they went. Leaving the cove, and heading towards the crossing isle, to try to figure out where she was meant to be.

They swam from the Cove to the edge of the isle of the crossing, walking the shore towards the falls. Kamala bounded next to her mother, being an annoying pest was what she did best. She played with her mother’s hair, and nipped at her shoulder when she was bored of walking.

Audie breathed deeply, trying to ignore her child for now. She was being a pest, on purpose, just to rile her mother up. Kamala knew what to do to make her mother annoyed, and honestly, it was fun to rile her up. It wasn’t like Kammy had anyone else to play with so bugging her mom was the next best bet. She wanted to visit others, and play, but mom seemed content to come here. Why were we here instead of finding daddy? It made no sense at all to the girl as she stood next to her mother, pouting because her mom didn’t respond to the pestering.

Audie sighed, watching Kamala out of the corner of her eye, knowing the girl needed to get out and about, exploring, ect. But she wasn’t ready to let her go and do that on her own yet. It seemed too soon. Even though the girl was two now, it just felt like Audie wasn’t ready to let her girl go yet. She watched the horizon, trying to figure out where she was supposed to take Kamala. Where had Requiem gone?

They stood in the long grasses that blended from the meadows into the falls. Kamala wandered a little bit, walking towards the shore of the falls.
