The young pony stallion had been hidden away on Tinuvel so long, he could barely remember the warmth of Atlantis; his birth home. The fur he had grown along his body had given him a shaggy appearance he had not thought possible, yet it had kept him comfortable even on the coldest nights as he stared across the sea. He longed for the home he had once had, the doting mother had had lost; only to assume she had drowned in his absence. It still pained him to think her gone in such a tragedy, and he had nearly done the same. Swimming here had been no small feat as he had been entirely too young, but the current had barely given him a choice. It was as if fate had decided it for him.


But Corzan was no longer the barely weaned child he had been then, and he no longer wished to linger here on this frigid place. Instead, he takes his first steps towards a new life, a new beginning, as he enters the lapping salt water. It is bitterly cold as it penetrates his thick fur, but he strikes out anyways, without even a backward glance at the absurdly cold rock of an island.


When his hooves find purchase again, it was upon the closest land he had been able to see. His legs feel tired after the swim, but nothing like before. He did not wobble like a nearly born babe, but his knees still shook with wariness. His eyes sweep his new surroundings as he stands just outside of the water’s grasp, taking in the greenery that nearly made his stomach growl with wanting. But what captured his attention most was the scent of others. Although Tinuvel had many residence, it was nothing in comparison to this. So, pulled along by curiosity and perhaps something more, he wandered into the unknown land, ignorant to the fate he still let lead his life by coming here.
