Oh, c'mon. Jack with poeple and sometimes they'll jack back! Like when you called mine 20 years ago when you traced down the ISP of a post here I'd done abt 15-20 years ago? (That was when Gateway posted ISP's) The IT guy you called told me about your call and I saw your posts then outting where I worked...so none of that's ever been disputed. Nor your pettiness. I've never figured out why radio guys who use anonymous monikers anyway would get their jollies playing "I know who you are!" games with posters in here. Guess its because so many jocks never actually mature past junior high thinking.
I only called you to get you off my back, Alvin, because my company's phone system records caller numbers! Didn't take much of a federal investigation to learn you were sitting over there in T town behind all this petty shit.
You must be really bored over there since the MidKansas board went down. Radio people are a strange bunch, fer sure. One need only read most of the posts on Gateway trashing women and gays and trashing sports and people. Remember when managers put their feet down and said no more staff posting on here because it was bad for business?
Maybe some have died off, but whatever, the new sport seems to be pretending to be someone else in here, like RET, a successful radio PD who I assume is far too mature to actually even wander in here.
I guess the problem is that so little interesting is going on in this market that all you people can do is hassle each other. Used to be contests and remotes and really funny bits that got people talking were what was going on in radio.
Now radio just never makes the news unless somebody dies!
As you know, I worked in doo-dah for some 10 years in radio...it was great radio; course the same corps that took over KC's market took over theirs. Has Wichita become as vanilla as this one.
But haven't the good ones here left for bigger places; I just come in here when I notice my bookmark to this site--so I don't follow it much. Honestly, this room is as boring as radio is here.
It was so much better in here and on the air years ago. Doesn't say much for the industry, does it. I used to be in here a lot, enjoying the scrapping but I lost interest even in that--but its still on my browsers' favorites, so I stop by now and then and some retired fool occasionally reposts one of my radio rants. Which is pretty funny since it riles up the old guard, not-yet-dead again! Did ya get your covid shots, ya old farts?? Ma-hahahaha!
