PRIME MINISTER'S DECREE

"None." - Leader

The Offspring

Diccon (Cicada x Khar'pern)

Rules

• The Vulcan Peak is where homeless mares come to live as a sisterhood. Stallions may not live here except as captives or companions for the Leaders.

• Warriors keep mainly to fighting, Thinkers keep mainly to raiding, and Politicians may do both, neither, or act as diplomats. Members may issue their own battles and raids, but should generally consult the General, Codebreaker or Prime Minister for permission.

• All major decisions are determined by vote, but the Prime Minister maintains order within the Peak and has the final say.

• Elections for leadership positions will be held every TLI summer, provided the qualifying criteria are met.

• You can find detailed information about how the Peak works on the Rules page.

for the first time in forever iscariot

róisín
Seeing her family again had repaired the young girl's heart, and with a renewed set of purpose, she returned to the crossing and to her stalwart protector. This time, the sea was calm and almost welcoming, pushing her ashore as she made landfall and lapping quietly behind her as she moved inland. It was not hard to find Iscariot - his golden-white hide shining like a beacon amongst the browns and oranges of autumn, and she instinctively quelled the silly stomach flip-flop that happened each time she was close to him.

The petite mare slowed her steps to something approximately stealth and sidled in beside him to touch his cheek, hoping for at least mild surprise. "Boo," she said softly, mirth warming the word. Roisin hated being away from him, but she could not deny that being around her family had helped to soothe many of her fears. Pulling back from him, Roisin settled at his side with a grin and craned her neck to pluck a vibrant once-red feather from her mane. It was slightly faded from the sun and salt, but a memento from home nonetheless, and she tucked it carefully into his mane. "Saoirse made sure to send this along for you," she answered, chuckling softly. Roi wasn't sure how much longer her little sister would remain in the depths of the jungle now that Naenia had grown her scarce, but she was glad for the chance to see her all the same. Smiling to herself, she pulled away to allow a more comfortable speaking distance again. "Did anything exciting happen while I was gone?"

She turned her blue-brown gaze back to him in appraisal, waiting quietly for his answer before asking the question that was forefront on her tongue. Seeing her family had helped solidify her decision, but she knew that she would not move onward to the Peak without Iscariot at her side. "Do you still want to come with me?" She asked quietly, not bothering to specify where. It had featured often in her frustrated venting and rambling during her self-imposed exile on the Crossing, and as her only friend, Iscariot had been forced to bear witness probably more often than he'd liked. "You can say no," she says softly, her tone serious as she tries to meet his gaze. If he didn't want to go, then Roi would find something else for them to do. Somewhere else for them to go.
