"Yeah, I still live in the mountains. I think you and Dad would have liked it there. It's so open and pretty. There's tons of wild flowers that grow there like the ones I picked for you. All different colors and smells. I'll try to pick some different ones next time so you can see what I'm talking about. Spirane has been quiet, but it's also been peaceful, so I'm not complaining. The leaders are still around. I can still smell most of the pack around the territory. I think the flooding just scared a bunch of wolves and they're lying low. No big deal. They'll come back out soon enough. Hopefully then I'll get to see Myrcella again." At the mention of his imprint, the male's cheeks flushed as he looked down at his paws in a minute of shyness. "I don't know what it is, but I miss her when she's not around. I know she's okay, somehow, but I don't want to be too pushy or clingy. I've heard girls don't like that." He chuckled a little, shaking out his fur. His face sobered then, a sadness flickering across his eyes. "I haven't seen Rett in years. I'm starting to think he's not coming back. I miss my brother with a vengeance. I just hope he's happy wherever he is." He sighed, sniffling before he looked back at the rocks that marked the graves. "Well, I should probably be getting back. Thanks for listening to me as always, Mom and Dad. I love you." Offering a smile, the male took one last look at the bouquet of wild flowers he put between their graves before he turned to trot back toward Spirane's borders. At least it wasn't too far to get to them. He did still like to spend time with them, after all. As he made it back over the borders, he took another whiff of the air and smiled. Mountain air.
