 The emotions lump in her throat as she mutters her apologies to him. She had abandoned him... their daughter and her family in the Badlands. She presses her muzzle into the crook of his neck and breathes in his musky scent. She has missed all of them, she has missed him. She swallows once more and pushes herself back a step so that she can bring her emerald gaze to meet his and that is when she sees the tears begin to well in his eyes. He steps to her side and presses his muzzle into her mane and begins to wail. It seems that he tries to convince himself that she is even here... that she is alive. She begins to nod her delicate crown. "I am here," she whispers quietly as he continues. Her eyes widen as he speaks of Feray and how she didn't love him... and of Nova's death? Her brows furrow momentarily as the news begins to sink in. So much change in such a short amount of time. "You did Roh," she breathes in hopes that her words could soothe his aching soul "having a family and a land can be a taxing job. My father always spoke of his responsibilities and they always seemed so time consuming." She watches as he begins to gather his strength and steps back to look upon her. A soft smile spreads across her whiskered lips as mentions their daughter and her beauty. She sucks in a breath and her heart begins to hammer wildly against her ribs. "Where is she? I would love to go to her." as her words leave her mouth the worries begin to flood in. Would she even remember her? Would she hate her for abandoning them? She swallows back the emotions that begin to wash over her anew. FLOWER CHILD
