It felt good to stretch her legs again. Since her brief visit to the Crossing, Monster felt restless after she returned to Paradise. Not that she didn't enjoy being home. Paradise would always be her home. But she was used to wandering more and children had kept her down for too long. That needed to change. So she was more than happy to have not just one, but two new missions to keep her busy. She had to find a new Second for the herd, and she needed to set some mares straight on what it means to be an ally. Her teeth gnashed together as she trotted toward the Ridge, with one very alert red colt hot on her heels. Alpha looked around in curiosity as they crossed over into the Ridge from Paradise, his green eyes intense and excited. It seemed she wasn't the only restless one.

Tossing her head, Monster screamed out a call for Faolain or Riviani. Hell, she'd tell them both how this was going to go from now on. Flaring her nostrils, the viper Queen of Paradise held her head high and took in all the tastes and smells of Ridge, challenging any to approach. Alpha stopped beside her, turning to gaze in her direction for a moment, before he looked around again. Would he get to see this Hades his father was talking about, or would he just be surrounded by mares? Only time would tell.
