Guess you didn't watch Rachel tonight, reealing what I think the NY Times wrote that Trump had cut a deal with the Taliban and once he announced the US would pull out, the Taliban went to all the war lords in the provinces and cut a deal. At that point, knowing Trump was pulling out, they trained, took our money and as soon as the US pulled out, they already knew the military would just step aside and the Taliban got Afghanistan without firing a shot. Trump funded the training of th Afghans just like Bush and Obama, and it appears they had no interest in fighting for a nation state.
Fact is Afghanistan was never a nation state, it was an area of feudal tribes, not unlike the American Indians. LIke the Founding Fathers here, nobody wanted a centralized government like the British intended when they divided up the mideast and drew the borders.
Pal youre listening to the Republicans covering up the deal. Biden was in for six months, he inherited the whole banana and after 20 years, and a trillion dollars, he didn't fall for the republicans always saying 'we need just a little more time."

We can't leave the KOreans tho beause Seoul, one of the largest ccities in the world is 15 miles from the DMZ...and thats in artillery range.
