PRIME MINISTER'S DECREE

"None." - Leader

The Offspring

Diccon (Cicada x Khar'pern)

Rules

• The Vulcan Peak is where homeless mares come to live as a sisterhood. Stallions may not live here except as captives or companions for the Leaders.

• Warriors keep mainly to fighting, Thinkers keep mainly to raiding, and Politicians may do both, neither, or act as diplomats. Members may issue their own battles and raids, but should generally consult the General, Codebreaker or Prime Minister for permission.

• All major decisions are determined by vote, but the Prime Minister maintains order within the Peak and has the final say.

• Elections for leadership positions will be held every TLI summer, provided the qualifying criteria are met.

• You can find detailed information about how the Peak works on the Rules page.

róisín
It was strange to have confirmation that their leaders were absent. It hurt her heart in a strange, wistful sort of way. Róisín had come to the Peak with the intention of becoming strong enough to defend her family from the villains that plagued them, and instead, she'd found herself so busy filling up the Peak with new faces that she'd done very little learning.

Her battle with Rade had been educational, but it wasn't as if the decrepit Lagoon ruler had paused to school her during the fighting. Kolfinna had been of much more help, but even that experience had been tempered by the fact that the little dun filly had needed to hold back to avoid injuring the clearly pregnant mare. It was progress, but it was so slow that she found herself restless, especially as the eve of Iscariot's departure drew near.

Movement nearby yanked the dun girl from her thoughts and she turned toward the approaching mare with a kind smile. She didn't recognize her, but then again, most of the faces here were new. Precious few previous residents could be found in the Peak, and it was perfectly plausible that she was simply a new arrival.

Her first comment gives Róisín pause and she glances down at herself before looking back up with a chuckle. She'd never really thought of herself as flashy. Having come from a family of golden, white-spotted visions of beauty, she actually thought of herself as quite plain, especially considering she'd inherited her father's height, nose, and unruly mane. Chuckling softly she shook her head. "You should meet the rest of my family then. Trust me, I'm the ugly duckling of the bunch."

As the gigantic draft mare speaks again, Roi's ears perk forward and she listens with concern. "Oh no," she murmurs softly as the mare cites her scattered mind. "It's a pleasure to meet you, Fei. My name is Róisín, but you can call me Roi, if it's easier." She loved her unique name, but it seemed to be a mouthful for most who met her for the first time. Something about the rolling of the syllables or something. "You're welcome to rest here for as long as you like. Did…something happen?" She asked cautiously, her gaze raking across the mare's body briefly in a cursory search for injuries.
