PRIME MINISTER'S DECREE

"None." - Leader

The Offspring

Diccon (Cicada x Khar'pern)

Rules

• The Vulcan Peak is where homeless mares come to live as a sisterhood. Stallions may not live here except as captives or companions for the Leaders.

• Warriors keep mainly to fighting, Thinkers keep mainly to raiding, and Politicians may do both, neither, or act as diplomats. Members may issue their own battles and raids, but should generally consult the General, Codebreaker or Prime Minister for permission.

• All major decisions are determined by vote, but the Prime Minister maintains order within the Peak and has the final say.

• Elections for leadership positions will be held every TLI summer, provided the qualifying criteria are met.

• You can find detailed information about how the Peak works on the Rules page.

legends never die

Following your gut was something that Bane knew well, as it was how she’d been brought up. Strike first, ask questions later, and the like. Maybe times were changing. Hell, was this what it was like to finally mature? Become something else, someone else? Was she losing her roots? Bane would be left to stew over her thoughts, in time. Was she still, after all this time, her mother’s daughter?

They had to figure out what they stood for, after all. Justice, and freedom, and the fact that anyone could be exactly who they wanted to be-- right? There are too many questions in Bane’s head. Her thoughts were too loud, and it was getting too cluttered between her ears. There’s a difference between fence walking and recognizing that times changed, at least in her mind. Things had changed… she’d changed. She would continue to change, as they all would.

“All of this campaigning is giving me a headache.” Bane is abrupt in the way that Anath often was. She is her mother’s daughter. Granted, Anath would have simply stormed away from the ledge the three stood upon. At least Bane has more social graces-- if marginally. Things were getting far too loud internally for the living legend to be able to process, and it was making things hard.

Bane wasn’t used to having this much company, at least for so long. Roisin asked if she intended to put herself up for a position, and her ears flickered momentarily. Had her resolve from just moments ago faded? The champagne creature thinks for a moment, then shakes her head. “If I’m what the Peak needs, then I will. If not, then I’ll support what’s best for my family.” The words come forth before she can stop them.

Fatigue was setting in. Being social was like a muscle, and it was one that she hadn’t worked in far too long. “I’m going to get some rest, the journey home was long.” The creature takes one step back, and then another. Carefully she turns from the broad ledge, and back to the remainder of the Peak with sure steps. She would tuck herself away into the safety of her homeland once more. It had been far too long.
