Despite urgings from the State Department and the Department of Defense, which Biden admitted to in his first speech after announcing his abandonment of Afghanistan, Biden went ahead with his insane plan.
Somehow, Biden had come up with a six-month timeframe for the Taliban’s expected takeover of Afghanistan. Instead, the Taliban took over the entire nation in eleven days.
It’s an embarrassing defeat or the US. Every terrorist in the world has seen it, and is encouraged by it. Every ally we had in Afghanistan will be imprisoned, tortured, probably killed.
Smooth move, Joe. Small nations worldwide will not dare to fight terrorists, because they have seen what an unreliable ally the US is.
