He barely has shook the water from his smoky hide when movement draws his glacial eyes to the jungle's edge. She is just as he remembered her, lithe in build, dark as the midnight's heavens. Faolain, a queen of the jungle. Björn? she whispers curiously. "Faolain," he answers with a nod of his bone white skull. But before he can speak further, the sound of hooves against the sands draws his glacial eyes to familiar face who now barrels down the sandy shore toward them. Surprise widens his eyes as the mares name flickers to the forefront of his mind. Talya. How was it she is now here? As she draws close he can feel her energy as it vibrates her body and excitement fills her voice. Her words spill from her lips and for a moment confusion flickers across his mind as he tries to piece together all that she said. “Oogie! Is it spring already?” "It is just about spring," says gently with a smile on his lips "and I did not know, but it seems we were meant to see each other once more." Faolain greets Talya with an offer of her muzzle and then offers it to Björn, he takes a step closer and presses his flaring nostrils to hers. There is a moment of pause before she speaks once more. "It is good to be home," he says with a flick of his ears "I have come to see how things have been holding up for you, here in the Ridge." He flicks his dark tail across his haunches as relaxes. His glacial eyes remain glued to hers as he awaits her answer. He knew exactly what it takes to lead a land, it was a rewarding and taxing job all in the same.
