There was no great fanfare in her departure from Paradise, just as there had been no great celebration in her arrival either. Her mother's influence overshadowed everything that Vivienne did, and while it was nice, in a way, to have something serving as a constant distraction from her own naughtiness, it was also incredibly frustrating.

She had everything that her mother did not, and everything that she did.

Still, Vivi was hardly jealous of her mother. She saw the way that Vanya wrapped herself desperately around Rougaru, as if determined to win and keep his favor through sex appeal alone. It seemed so… pointless to Vivienne. Sooner or later her sire would tire of her, and Vanya would once again be reduced to the rank of a common herd mare and all of this posturing would be in vain. It was nauseating to watch.

So when the opportunity to follow the only truly interesting creature that she'd met had arisen, she'd taken the chance. Drogon wasn't there to curtail her anymore or to keep her in line, and Vanya was well distracted with the mess of Auryn and Loki's birth. There was no one to stop her, and she very well knew it.

The sun was fiercer here, somehow. It crackled against her skin, leaving the ocean's wetness to steam upward from her coat in little heat waves that she could just barely see. Below her feet was an entire island of beach sand, interspersed with greenery that seemed dangerous. She swore that she'd seen a small tree that had literal spines sticking off of it. In a way, it reminded her of the little frogs back home, who wore brightly colored coats to remind everyone that they were dangerous to touch. Vivienne smiled, amused at the thought of plant life being dangerous, but wisely opted not to touch the prickly stem.

Nyimara's tracks were easy to follow as they came with their own weaving set of foal hoofprints as well. Vivienne still couldn't see the allure of children, but she knew that motherhood was somehow important to her sister, and so had resolved to tolerate him, at the very least. Vivienne had seen the fire in the dark mare's eyes that day when she'd come to tell her story, and had decided to follow her, if only to learn how she might harness that fire herself. It seemed like a much more fun existence than waiting for Rougaru to decide to pawn her off on someone else.

"I hope you don't mind some company," she said sweetly as she found and joined the chocolate-colored mare. "Paradise was getting a little too crowded for me, sister."
