PRIME MINISTER'S DECREE

"None." - Leader

The Offspring

Diccon (Cicada x Khar'pern)

Rules

• The Vulcan Peak is where homeless mares come to live as a sisterhood. Stallions may not live here except as captives or companions for the Leaders.

• Warriors keep mainly to fighting, Thinkers keep mainly to raiding, and Politicians may do both, neither, or act as diplomats. Members may issue their own battles and raids, but should generally consult the General, Codebreaker or Prime Minister for permission.

• All major decisions are determined by vote, but the Prime Minister maintains order within the Peak and has the final say.

• Elections for leadership positions will be held every TLI summer, provided the qualifying criteria are met.

• You can find detailed information about how the Peak works on the Rules page.

High dive into frozen waves

Clarity

It should have been obvious to her that someone would pop in to chat after what she just stated aloud to the group. Actually, she was kind of relieved by the mare she saw approaching. Out of everyone it was Oswin she was most interested in hearing out since the mare did have some history here. Clarity did not yet know just how much history Oswin has on the islands or her opinion of the mare would have been quite different. It goes to show without speaking to one another can do. What knowledge could be passed on with one simple conversation. Blue eyes study the painted mare as she comes forth displaying a smile on her lips. Clarity gives the older mare her own smile in greeting to show to Oswin she meant no harm to her approach. Oswin extends her muzzle towards her so Clarity follows suit.

A proper hello was needed after such hard words were said, but she can hope the mare understood. It was hard to see your leadership change so many times in one year. Especially when you have held your same position for a couple years’ time. Oswin introduces herself briefly which prompts Clarity to do that same. ”It is nice to finally get the chance to speak with you Oswin. I have seen you around many times, but never have we spoken. If you would tell me something,” she begins to get right to the point and inquire about the mare’s need for the throne. ”Just why do you want to be our leader? Have you been a leader before?” Clarity knows the dangers the Peak has once faced since her time living here. This place has always been a sanctuary for her.

Bad leadership could mess that up rather quickly.

A second voice perks up her ears as Clarity turns to face the new mare joining the conversation. Her eyes narrow slightly at the stranger’s comment wondering just how much she might be judging her right now. Clarity has never seen this mare until very recently so she has no idea who she could possibly be. Obviously, someone as curious as Oswin was to find out why she spoke up about the election. She speaks again and says only one word. Anath, she assumes is this mare’s name, was an interesting mare to Clarity. She straightens up her posture before really looking the older mare over. It was the mare she looks upon now that she could see as their General. She was much older, perhaps even too worn, but the scars the mark her coat tells the tale of experience.

This is the type of General the Peak needs. ”Are you too interested to know why I spoke up?” She asks Anath before her eyes dart back to Oswin.
