Crashin and burning on liveshots

What a waste of a little man'w life, so little to do, he comes in here everyday hoping to torment someone he don't even know. I think he's jealous or suffers from early dimentia!

Jim think's Byrons talking to HIM, but actually that above was just a rough draft to post out on a real media website with higher visibility. Thanks tho to the guy who complained about 5's sloppy breaks. Got me thinking about anothe rpart of local TV I hadn't thought about for years. Not many newspeople wander into master control... but I did since I produced live events a lot and brought in satellite feeds from distant places so I had to cue the talent when Master went TO em. Fun days and always risky with so many potential tech and human failures that could happen between the talent and the viewers eyes and ears. Most common was somebody forgetting to test audio before the shot. That still happens frequently on the major news channels, so many years later. And ta think, they do it twice an hour, they should be able to do it in their sleep!

Hi Jim, Eric and Jim! Must suck being you, Jim! You were never in the really fun parts of live TV! You didn't even get to produce your own remotes, did you?
