I'll take far lefties (like Bernie) before these fascist Trumpsters who have no respect for anybody but their donors, certainly not the Constitution.
We have few far lefts to wanting communism as we do rightists who want dictatorship.
I sincerely urge you to move some towards the center. Until the Tea Party hijacking, we had the best government going on this planet.
Trump totally destroyed that and REpublicans foolishly followed him down the rabbit hole. I'm confident Trump will see jail time and some of his family and men will do time like Nixons did.
But that's not the issue fascing us now.
With imminent war in Ukraine, everytying but that should be off the front pages. My wife and I entertained briefly a Ukrainian deligation here on a medical learning mission. Nice people, like us. They mostly marveled at my Pickup, which I guess they don't have over there, but I brought their luggage fm one hotel to another. Some were indeed pretty Russian, but we didnt' do politics. They did like KC tho. They live in Donetsk, right on the Russian border. Scared for them because that city will fall quickly and they do hospital work, so they'll be elbow deep in war blood.
No sooner did we get rid of Trump but the world got another jackass, Putin who this week is bullying Biden with nuclear war exercises. Reminds me of bomb shelters and fears of out of control events dragging us into the unthinkable, like happened in WWI.
Is there no chance for a breath of peace for awhile? We're not even out of the pandemic yet, and climate change is getting worse.
We just don't need any more pricks in high places....thats my story, and I'm stickin with it, Reality!
