What of after the Falls?
How was he supposed to know? Tyr knew what Roisin was implying, and his patience that was growing ever thin, wanting him to snap out that he wasn’t a mind reader. If he wasn’t taking the golden and white mare as prisoner, which was his claim to the situation, then it was her decision where she went next. Tyr would have never brought Vadim if that were his intentions, since a mare could be just as dangerous as a stallion. Though in all honesty, it had been Vadim that had drug him out here into this situation. It was too late, and he was too invested now to just leave. Besides, what would that be teaching Vadim?
The colt perked up when Roisin made her apology to him, giving her a happy smile, since there didn’t seem to be a shy bone in his body. When Djuna said she trusted him, he nearly jumped up and down in place in his excitement. Finally, they were going to get to go! “I do!” Vadim said eagerly, not caring that Djuna had actually been looking at his father when she asked if he knew the way. Breaking away from the adults, Vadim gave a few lofty trotting strides in the direction of the Falls before he stopped, spinning around as he waited for them to begin following him, before he sprinted ahead once again.
“I appreciate you giving us the chance.” Tyr said to Djuna, dipping his head slightly to the golden mare. The irritation that he had felt towards Roisin was beginning to melt away, though he wouldn’t actually feel relaxed until they had finally parted ways from the Peak mare. Not to do anything criminal, only that he hated being constantly accused. “I will not break your trust.” the stallion confirmed, before nodding his head in the direction Vadim had went so that they could follow the colt together.
