PRIME MINISTER'S DECREE

"None." - Leader

The Offspring

Diccon (Cicada x Khar'pern)

Rules

• The Vulcan Peak is where homeless mares come to live as a sisterhood. Stallions may not live here except as captives or companions for the Leaders.

• Warriors keep mainly to fighting, Thinkers keep mainly to raiding, and Politicians may do both, neither, or act as diplomats. Members may issue their own battles and raids, but should generally consult the General, Codebreaker or Prime Minister for permission.

• All major decisions are determined by vote, but the Prime Minister maintains order within the Peak and has the final say.

• Elections for leadership positions will be held every TLI summer, provided the qualifying criteria are met.

• You can find detailed information about how the Peak works on the Rules page.

turn men into monsters

Life was spinning by quickly for the young colt. Somehow, he had reached a year old under his father’s care, though no doubt with his curious and out going nature it had not been easy for his sire. Vadim was becoming bolder with each passing day. Spending longer lengths of time from Tyr’s watch, and knowing his father probably enjoyed having a bit more freedom as well from babysitting. If he wasn’t worrying himself to death. A smirk crossed Vadim’s muzzle at the image in his head of Tyr being like a worried hen unable to find her chicks. Onery as he was, Vadim made a promise to himself that he would not stay away for too long. His father had enough worries without having to hunt him down too. Plus, Vadim didn’t want to hear that lecture.

Peeking from the shadows of the Lagoon, Vadim surveyed the Meadows. There were plenty of others about today; it was a rather pretty day after all. The sun was shining, not a cloud in the sky and the weather hadn’t turned particularly hot just yet. Even a slight breeze stirred the tall green stalks of grass without buffeting him so hard Vadim felt like he would fall over as had been the previous days. But as the colt looked across the different colored hides of horses, none of them in particular called to his curiosity. Instead, only one came to mind, and his gaze swept up to the vast mountain beyond.

The Peak.

Apparently, he had a sibling living there he had not met, and Vadim was curious about who it was. Tyr had never said anything to him in particular about it, Vadim had only caught brief bits about this mysterious foal that he shared blood with. He didn’t know if it was a boy or a girl, strong or weak; Vadim didn’t know anything! It made his skin crawl with unpent energy to scale the mountain and find out for himself.

Invigorated with these thoughts, Vadim broke free of the shadows and galloped his way towards the towering land where the Vulcans resided. His mind briefly flashed back to the mare he had met before who lived there. Would she be angry to see him in her home? Vadim felt like he had a good reason to be trespassing; to find out who this family member was. Plus, they were supposed to be allies. Or something along those lines. Not hostile. So, surely, she wouldn’t kick him out, right? Airing on the cautious side, Vadim decided as he began to make the climb, that he would just try to avoid anyone older than him. If at all possible.
