is the one who refuses to rely on your sword.

~ the most dangerous woman of all is the one who refuses to rely on your sword.

A soft breeze ruffles through the dry grasses and whispers into the dark tendrils of her mane. She sucks a deep sigh across her ashen lips as she shifts her weight from one hoof to the other. Her mission to find the Wolf King breathes life into her body - just as the warmth of spring - breathes life into the barren winterland.

The shuffle of hooves through the dry grasses draws a single swiveling ear toward the stranger who approaches. He clears his throat before coming to a rest near to her; his musk wafts around her - a mixture of salt and damp skin. She draws her eyes up to stare at him suspiciously as he stands above her. "The anger suits you." his deep voice fills the space between them.

She wants to snap at him with not only her teeth but her words... What would he know of anger? A low growl rumbles from deep within her throat.

"It sure does... doesn't it." she abruptly snaps as her ears disappear into her mess of dark tendrils; her nostrils wrinkle and her lips pull back from her teeth. In an instant she turns into a growling snarling wild cat - her tail snaps across her haunches - as she leans back on her haunches as if she was about to pounce on at him.

I imagine you do not wish to travel again so soon, atleast he had enogh common sense to understand that the swim taxes one of their energy - scratch that - "though I can assure you the shore is a far safer place to mull over whatever it is that troubles you."

She eyes him suspiciously as his words linger in the still air. "I do not seak a safe place..." she growls as she shifts her weight impatiently from hoof to hoof. Now that her strength has returned she is perfectly able to protect herself. "... and I believe that it is time for me to be on my way."

She pushes herself from beneath the branches of the oak tree and to his side. "But thanks for the offer," she purrs as she thrusts past the massive golden man.
