Boss's Decree

"For every brother you bring to our
midst, you may keep a trinket all to
yourself. She will not be sullied or traded, unless you deem otherwise. But should you bring a mare here without a new brother first, then I will consider her property of the Lagoon as a whole
and do with her as I see fit." - Garmr

Rules

• The Lagoon is where homeless stallions come to live as a brotherhood. Mares may not live here except as captives or companions for the Leaders.

• Soldiers keep mainly to fighting, Thieves keep mainly to raiding, and Associates may do both, neither, or act as diplomats. Members may issue their own battles and raids, but should generally consult the General, Marauder or Boss for permission.

• All major decisions are determined by vote, but the Boss maintains order within the Lagoon and has the final say.

• Elections for leadership positions will be held every TLI summer, provided the qualifying criteria are met.

• You can find detailed information about how the Lagoon works on the Rules page.

• Upon election, the Boss can issue a rule for members to follow during their tenure. It is up to leadership to enforce.

turn men into beasts

Tyr dropped back down, his hooves slamming into the ground as Psychedelic stumbled away from him. Tyr’s ears were still buried beneath tangles of pale mane, but his multi-colored eyes had begun to glitter with more than rage. The sweet taste of violence had been parched from his tongue for so long and now that he had gotten a taste of it, the giant stallion craved more. Taunting words were thrown at him, but Tyr knew that was all that Psychedelic had left. Age and size were beginning to tell on the painted flesh of Tyr’s opponent and he knew if he could get ahold of the Boss one more time, his troubles would come to an end. The idea of what would become of Psychedelic beneath his heavy hooves caused a smirk to tug at Tyr’s lips once more and he began to move at an eager trot towards the other stallion.

It seemed Psychedelic wasn’t keen on the outcome that Tyr was, and the lighter framed stallion bolted into the shadows of the Lagoon. “You mocked my peacefulness.” Tyr’s bellowing voice called in the wake of Psychedelic’s tracks. “Why do you run from the villain you desired instead? Tyr wasn’t stupid enough to go blazing through the Lagoon at full speed. With the muck pulling at his legs and a well-placed tree to the shoulder from not turning tight enough, it could render him exhausted and lame. No, Tyr would keep at a steady paced trot. He would hunt the stallion as a wolf does its prey. Wearing it out slowly but surely, until there was no fight left in the aged stallion.

“F-Father?!”

The familiar voice of his son cut through the anger that coursed through Tyr. The giant stallion stopped, turning his head to let his eyes fall upon the shocked face of Vadim. The boy had grown so much, it was hard to recognize him from the colt he had once been. Although Vadim didn’t quiver in fear, it was the look of utter surprise that made Tyr realize that his son had never seen the violent man beneath the peaceful mask. The stallion that Roisin had made sure that everyone knew he truly was.

Without waiting for an answer, Vadim turned and bolted in a different direction that Psychedelic. Standing there seemed like a cross-roads for the large stallion. A choice between light and dark. Continue to chase Psychedelic into the dark until he was again washed in blood, or follow after his son. To show him he wasn’t the monster Vadim just witnessed him behaving as such.

In the end, Tyr chose neither. With ears still pinned, the stallion turned and slunk off in a different direction than either he had come across. The stallion had more than enough to think about for now while he cooled off both mentally, and physically.
