PRIME MINISTER'S DECREE

"None." - Leader

The Offspring

Diccon (Cicada x Khar'pern)

Rules

• The Vulcan Peak is where homeless mares come to live as a sisterhood. Stallions may not live here except as captives or companions for the Leaders.

• Warriors keep mainly to fighting, Thinkers keep mainly to raiding, and Politicians may do both, neither, or act as diplomats. Members may issue their own battles and raids, but should generally consult the General, Codebreaker or Prime Minister for permission.

• All major decisions are determined by vote, but the Prime Minister maintains order within the Peak and has the final say.

• Elections for leadership positions will be held every TLI summer, provided the qualifying criteria are met.

• You can find detailed information about how the Peak works on the Rules page.

High dive into frozen waves

Clarity

Her aspiration had once been to become the General, but she quickly learned she was not one for politics. It seems no matter the title you hold in the Peak, you are expected to know the ins and outs of politics. Who hated who, who we should hate, she couldn’t keep up with it all. Clarity decided a long time ago to take a step back. Become a simple warrior only fighting to defend her sisters when no one else would. She had taken on a few challenges, but she had never truly done what she wanted. Her whole reason for joining the Peak…save someone in need. Use her strength to save a mare begging for their help. No one came to them like they once did.

She was doing nothing here, but slipping away into the shadows. She even begins to think this is why all her children (and lovers) have left her (not Patience of course). Loneliness was a silent killer indeed. Being too deep in her own head Clarity did not hear Roisin’s call. Not that she would come if she had, but the mare was surprised to look up and find herself on the path to the new Prime Minister. Blue eyes lock with the other, crap, now she would be forever classified as rude for not speaking up. A heavy sigh escapes the mare as she continues a slow pace forward.

Eventually, she is close enough for speaking and that is close enough for Clarity. The painted mare stops, dips her head slightly to Roisin, and greets her with a hushed ”Hello”. What else was there to say? ”Congratulations on your step up.” Did that sound sincere? Surely Roisin remembers how she spoke against her moving into the General role and this time she had said nothing.
