PRIME MINISTER'S DECREE

"None." - Leader

The Offspring

Diccon (Cicada x Khar'pern)

Rules

• The Vulcan Peak is where homeless mares come to live as a sisterhood. Stallions may not live here except as captives or companions for the Leaders.

• Warriors keep mainly to fighting, Thinkers keep mainly to raiding, and Politicians may do both, neither, or act as diplomats. Members may issue their own battles and raids, but should generally consult the General, Codebreaker or Prime Minister for permission.

• All major decisions are determined by vote, but the Prime Minister maintains order within the Peak and has the final say.

• Elections for leadership positions will be held every TLI summer, provided the qualifying criteria are met.

• You can find detailed information about how the Peak works on the Rules page.

He could sense the win coming, although she was doing a very good job at trying to make him believe otherwise. The fact that she kept her cheek just out of his reach was practically an aphrodisiac, and he felt warm all over, eager to get the formalities over so that they could simply share space together. And her silence only added to his erroneous assumption, spawning an ever-widening grin that made his eyes glitter with happiness.

Today had been perfect. He'd found her right away, and managed to best her in battle, thereby proving his readiness to protect her. And now here she was, putting up a good show of resisting him, while giving him all sorts of go-ahead signals. If he just kept flirting with her, it wouldn't be long before he would be able to show her the canyons and the ridges of his home.

"I'm not," he said patiently, refuting her claim of confusion. She had said she would come to the Badlands, and he had come to collect on her promise. As her tone changed, erasing his mistaken identification of her interest, his own ire began to raise and he lifted his head in frustration. "Yes you are," he murmured, his voice low and ears tilting back.

Raegar had never been good at taking no for an answer. Not as a mostly feral colt running wild across the Badlands, and especially not now that he had the size and capability to back up the majority of his desires. He watched as she stood taller, lording her height over him as though he were supposed to be intimidated and felt his pride flare with rage. How dare she pretend to be dominant over him? He'd literally just bested her in a fight and here she was, attempting to turn him down.

"Don't do this," he said through gritted teeth, his own neck curled into a taut arch. "You are coming to the Badlands, one way or another Filumena. You said you would, and now you will..." He trailed off, nodding his head in the direction of the Badlands with his jaw clenched tightly shut. If she wouldn't go willingly, he wouldn't hesitate to press the issue, but he so very badly had wanted this to be her decision that the whiplash of realization hadn't finished hitting him quite yet. This had been his fastest best to worst day yet, and the day wasn't even over yet.
